Julian LaRose Harris, journalist and editor, son of author Joel Chandler Harris, was born in Savannah, Georgia, 21 June 1974, and died in Atlanta, Georgia, 9 February 1963. He married Julia Florida Collier (1875-1967), an artist and writer, in 1897 and they wrote for and edited several newspapers in the South and elsewhere.
